The ocean off of Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano Beach has amazing reefs and wrecks to dive. Until I dove in other places around the world I forgot how spectacular the reef life is in my own backyard.
The water was warm, the corals were colorful and the fish were pretty and plentiful.

Having an amazing time on safari!! I took plenty of notes and look forward to updating the travel blog with new and useful tips for anyone planning a safari!
This morning I was hiking the trails at Chimney Rock state park in NC. It’s in the Asheville, NC area. I loved this park!! I could have spent the whole day there. I really need to learn how to rock climb. They had classes at the park but they were full. I also updated the Lake Lanier page. This lake less then an hour from downtown Atlanta is worth the trip if you are in the area. I hope you enjoy the updates. Next time I post it should be on Rwanda & Tanzania including Zanzibar.

I will be updating the Atlanta page this week with information from my trip to Lake Lanier. What a great place for a weekend getway, it is close to the city and we had a blast!

Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. This is a picture in front of Backyard Bar and Hotel. Every Saturday at 4pm they host a surf contest. It’s a fun way to spend the day. Warning the sand is black and gets really hot!!
