I really need to do a better job at updating this section. For example Chile is not an option yet it is a wonderful diverse destination: deserts, beaches and glacier park. When asked I often say Chile is the country where I met the nicest people when I was backpacking alone.

The two locations I have posted made enough of an impression on me that I wrote stories about both of them on CNN.COM. The beaches of Uruguay (one of the few countries I make repeated visits to because I love it! ) and Peru where you can read about one of my favorite villages!!

All this talk about travel, I have to go. It’s time to check flights to plan our next trip after Africa. I like to have a place to look forward to while I am flying home from a vacation.
